What can you expect if you register for on of our intensive courses here at Escuela Delengua?
Well firstly you can expect to be taught by a young enthusiastic native Spanish speaker. Here at Delengua we have a small dynamic group of young teachers who are all qualified in Spanish philology and have years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language. They will ensure that you feel comfortable and confident from the first moment you step into the classroom and if you have any questions, ask! All our teachers are friendly and very wasy to get along and have a laugh with so if you have any questions they will be more than happy to give you the information you need and more!
In terms of the classes, you can expect to be in a group that will have a maximum of 8 people in it. This ensures that each student gets the amount of individual attention that is needed to be able to learn Spanish in the most effective way possible. These small calsses offer an intimate learning space where everyone is at the same level and progresses together. Classes are entirely in Spanish where possible but don’t let this worry you! Our teachers have lots of experience dealing with any level of Spanish so don´t feel you will ever be left not understanding: you won´t be!
But, what can you expect from the content of the class? Well remove from your heads any concept of school language lessons with verb tables and memorisation. Of course there will be verb learning but in a much more fun and interactive way. At Delengua you can expect a variety of activities to take place during just one class. Our teachers use music, films and games to engage a class and ensure everyone is taking part, learning and, most importantly, speaking. In order to get the best out of students, we offer a grammar class from 10 till 11.30 and then an opportunity to practice that grammar in a speaking class from 12 till 1.30. From then onwards you are free to take part in activities with the school or explore Granada. Just make sure you’re speaking Spanish!
